I have a client who wants some large scale exterior painting in bright red. I recently learned that there is a big difference between paint mixed in the factory, like sign paint, versus the mixed watery stuff you get in California from a house painting place, unless its a stock color. Is Porter an answer to this, which is a known Walldog fav? We don't have it out here. Who sells it? What's their contact info even if it's not the best for this application. Thanks

Hi Steve, The first time I saw PORTER "Oriental Red" used was at the Belvedere wall dog meet, where Gary Anderson used it on his wall. It looks exactly like 102 red. Glossy and fast drying too. I recommend two coats minimum. These days red enamel just won't hold up. So acrylic is the only alternative, and you will find it to be far superior.

They also have a red called KFC red. Same color as the red on the KFC buildings. Nice color, and it comes pre-mixed. Dont know the color no. or anything on it, just ask for KFC red.
