Celeste called today with some sad news. My uncle, Fr. Michael St.Pierre, left us this past Monday.
I spent summers in Vermont with "Father Mike" when I was a teenager. I'll always remember his huge personal library...rooms packed full to the walls of books...and his incredible ability to recall parts of any of them.
He got special permission to marry Celeste and I in 1984, a special day made even more special with him standing at the pulpit.
