Steve, You can still produce the signs in Coroplast, but offer them the normal metal frames. They'll save some money on the sign materials. I'd be concerned with the coros bending at that size if you use only the wire stakes.

We print coro signs in larger sizes but only for true real estate frames. We also only use the 6mm thickness and a good double sided foam tape to install them. They are just too flexible to stay in the frames against the rigors of nature.
for norman 18x24 we only use the heavy duty step stakes also. The light ones are junk and only good for 12x18 at the most.

Diversified Signs now has a really heavy duty corro stand I think for 6MM coro maybe it's 10mm but the base leg is 1/2" powder coated wire.
