Although I'm not familiar with your particular program, the problem may be that you're using the distortion tool to place your text in the circle. Does the program have a separate feature to fit text on an arc? This should do it without distorting the text. If you can't find that feature, you should be able to fit text to a path and just draw a circle for your path.

That distortion is correct if you dont use it....the letters will appear too mechanical some programs give you both options be happy with what you have if the distortion is really noticeable.. that would indicate that your radius is too small back off on it and let it be gentle

Sometimes there's an option to spread the letters radially, or to have the letters all stand vertically, but still arched. Often the two options will be in vastly different places in the same program.
