Detroit was a blast unfortunately I had to Miss Sunday. It was nice to meet Steve and Barb Briefly. Here are a few pics.
A few pinstriping masters and me these guys have influenced me the most.
A Panel by Nick Hartzell
The late night Saturday stragglers.
This was done by one of the sponsors. Gilded and painted glass the detail in person was great.

Thanks for starting this post Curtis. It's a great place for all returning from Detroit to post photos and tell their stories.
I'm eager to talk to Sam by phone tomorrow and have him post how much was raised by all the wonderful stripers working at the show. As Unkle Ian said " What's better than getting together with over a hundred pals to paint together and raise thousands of dollars for charity?"
You can't argue with that!

This was the best! 150+ pinstripers in one place and EVERYBODY had a great time. It's really good to see all the young people getting into the mix. We raised over $36,000 for Rainbow Connection. They do wish things for terminally ill children. Sam and his wife and crew worked there butt off putting this together, THANKYOU for letting us be a part. Sorry Keith couldn't make it, but it was great hanging with everybody who did. Curtis don't bring your son to Myrtle Beach,I don't need the competition......

It's tough CJ. Many are in the Witness Protection Program.
You are right CJ. We've been trying to cover these live meets for years and have never really developed a good system to put faces and names back together for posting. I still have to check your last name to see if you are an Allan or Allen. It's just too easy to take the easy way out.
We're thrilled to see Artie posting. He's a great guy with lots of ideas and stories from the good old days. I hear rumours he is headed to Scotland for Stewart's meet.
I'm looking for a good photo of Sam and his Wife. Some of our photos are blurred, so we appreciate anything you guys can add. If you don't know how to add a photo, email them to barb@letterhead.com and we'll make sure they get on.
Speaking of Sam. I'm wanting to know more about this guy. In addition to putting together this event evey year, I learned that he also teaches a Pinstriping Class at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. No shortage of energy when it comes to Sam and his wife! Letterville salutes you guys for all you do! Thank You.
And Curtis? Well here is a photo of myself giving Curtis a warm neck hug. In return, Curtis gave me a free Karate lesson. The bruise should be gone by next week.

So THAT'S Curtis?! He doesn't look anything like I had him pictured. Isn't it funny what visual images you get in your head by reading someone's correspondence or listening to their voice on the phone?
I find that kind of thing interesting.

Watch out, Curt...Artie got together with Gump a couple of summers ago at meets and he's been hooked ever since...'course,it cost me a set of Mack to keep him outta my kit, but it sure is fun watchin' him go. Good to see you here in Letterville, Artie!
Thanks for the pics, guys. Rapid
