Does anyone (those of you living in the South in particular) know where I could get bulk amounts of ginned cotton fiber for spinning? TIA

I'm sure you can find bulk ginned cotton here in south Georgia. It looks like snow on the highways here when it's being ginned. I got a friend whose husband is involved with McClesky Cotton Company in Bronwood,GA. I'll give her a call if you like.

cool- I presume you're a spinster (proper usage of the word here)-What kind of a wheel do you use? I've done wool (I have an Ashford, but have used a great wheel at work) & flax - cotton doesn't grow well up here! LOL

I have an Ashford traditional wheel Cat. I've spun a little bit of everything except flax, but mainly wool. [Smile]
