Is there a difference between "surface" gold and "glass" gold. I accidently used some surface gold leaf of a glass guild. I don't notice anything wrong, but is there something I'm missing?

I'm guessing that glass gold has fewer pinholes. Other than that, I don't see where there would be a difference.

My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone.

The difference is in the thickness, the content is the same. Surface gold is thicker so that it can be applied using the paper, Glass gold is thinner to be applied with static electricity.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to make sure ther was not any significant difference that would make it not hold up.
