Is there a difference between "surface" gold and "glass" gold. I accidently used some surface gold leaf of a glass guild. I don't notice anything wrong, but is there something I'm missing?

My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

The difference is in the thickness, the content is the same. Surface gold is thicker so that it can be applied using the paper, Glass gold is thinner to be applied with static electricity.
