Nutin to sweat..

Use just one of them kits with a dot ink jet printer,,, use up a set of cartridges at $60 bux a set,, and they will see how much of a real deal it is..

Then if someone has a half used set and the job fails in the middle,, they are screwed.. This is not a threat in any way.. Just an insult..

My supplier recently posted a letter saying that all supplies of the bad stuff had been replaced, and things were back to normal again. I was about to try them again, until now.

I don't guess there's anything we can do to stop ANY of our suppliers from competing with us, but maybe if we stop buying their products, they'll get the message.

Wasn't Avery the one who bought out Spar-Cal? I personally hated to see them go; don't remember ever having a problem with it.

Or viewed in a completely different light:
If I'm a cross dressing handyman around the house, why would I buy from these two in the demo when I can buy my high heels & hardware online and maintain total creativity, not to mention privacy? [Razz] [Wink]
I am altering my purchase habits without having any vinyl failures. Just a different take if they needed one to wake up. [Wink]

Although SparCal was an independent company, all their vinyl was produced by Avery. We had one bad roll from them about 15 years ago. SparCal jumped right in and not only replaced their film but asked us to make them an invoice for all labor and other affected materials.

They were big enough to do a good job yet small enough to do the right thing.
