These hanging brackets are intended to hang sign blanks that are 1/2" or 3/4" inches in thickness between 2 posts. We purposely build the bracket to be a bit wider to eliminate the risk of damage while installing these brackets onto the sign. Mica powders are particles coated with titanium dioxide and/or iron oxide. They are environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-tarnishing and universal. Mica colors can be intermixed with each other to provide additional colors. The density of coverage depends on the amount of powder used. Here's a great new tool that should be in every signmaker's toolbox. It's a 25' centering tape measure that will save you time and eliminate measuring errors. The tape's top edge has standard tape measure markings. The bottom edge has a unique, center-finding scale. Simply measure the panel with the top scale as usual, then find the same measurement on the bottom scale. That's your center. Working from centerlines is the fastest way to position graphics on a panel. The CenterPoint tape is the fastest way to find the center of almost anything! That's OK Barb. My name gets distorted quite a bit but I must say that Nid-Zek is a first. Has sort of a Star Wars flavor doesn't it?
As far as the package goes, I'm sticking to the basic flames. Most of my customers are pretty conservative. Even my biker friends are old farts.
I'll post a pic of my flamed, domed PowerBook top when I get it done.
