We need to make something similar to this one and we're not sure how to. The prices and wording need to be able to be changed easily.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks /David

I saw an article in SB recently where they used a steel back panel and made black magnetic changeable strips lettered with vinyl for the items on a coffee house menu.
It looked like a great idea and looked clean as well.

Just like Mark said. I used sintra strips with magentic on the back on a thin steel panel within the frame. The strips tuck under the frame by about an eighth of an inch on either side. Works great and very easily changeable.

We had some trouble with galvanized doing something to the back of the magnetic. This was on an outdoor monument sign where a changeable magnetic sign needed to be place. We created a niche in the sign, glued the galvanized plate in and set the magnetic sign over the top.
Some kind of molecule transfer was taking place, and I'm not a scientist, but the magnetic sign was being "eat up" somehow.
We had to cover the galvanized with vinyl then place the magnetic sheet over the top. The original magnetic signs had to be replaced after 6 months. MY Cost!

THANK YOU, for all the ideas and help! Looks like we're going to try the magnet idea on a steel back. We'll let you know how it turns out:)
