Hello all-- Sorry I've missed the bullboard--this past semester was a little psychotic. But now--I'm coming down the home stretch and hope to log on more often... Just got back from Haiti--EVERYthing is a mural there--they paint all of the ads, busses, even outhouses--lots of bright colors--some day it might make for the perfect place for a meet! I had myself some good Haitian rum--and go figure--a glass of Glennfidditch--on New Year's (it's their independence day). But mostly we played with the kids, brought medical supplies, some 'ti machines, etc. Ou parle kreoyol, quelqe'un? Pictures soon if anyone's interested. Oh yeah--and to all you Canadians/Northerners, I'm going to L'Arch, Ontario over Spring break to work at a home for disabled, eh? :)Monk? Kelly? And Dale--as I sit here and attack some foam core, butterfly closures nearby, I think of you. Posts: 74 | From: Lincoln, Illinois | Registered: Jul 2005

I - for one - would love to see some pics from Haiti, whenever you can get around to posting them.
Where the heck is L'Arch, ON?

It is lovely to hear that you're still out there spreading sunshine. Sounds like you've had some interesting travels. I expect a full report and a photo album at our next meeting!
Are you heading to Lodi, CA this spring or will I have to wait until June?
Funny you should mention butterfly bandages! I have kept the students from needing them last semester but have had to pay a visit to urgent care myself a couple times lately. Better me than them I guess.
I am gearing up to safety train about 300 students in the next few weeks! Either that or run screaming for the door never to look back again....Hmmm?

Cute T Dale It's nice to hear from you Katie. You will still be a long, long way from Saskatchewan, but you are so welcome should you decide you want to head West. I'll be in Lodi too, or if that doesn't work, come paint walls in Moose Jaw next year.
I think it is wonderful that you will be working with the disabled. That is something close to my heart and it takes someone special to want to do that. But then I already suspected you were somewhat special.
Till we meet again....Take Care Kid!

And yes--I am really looking forward to working with the disabled... Awesome shirt, Dale! California looks like a not, but this summer I am going to do all in my power to go to as many meets as I can!! Hmmm, safety training--sounds more dangerous than rabid Haitian dogs. And as for clean cuts--for as many as I have had, I don't have any scars from them talk to ya'll again soon Posts: 74 | From: Lincoln, Illinois | Registered: Jul 2005
