Not that I am a big fan of it, but is anyone else noticeing a sudden and rather steep increase in the cost of cloroplast? My supplier just went up to $16.97 a sheet. Quite a jump from $10.92 (Do to oil related products they tell me.)

yeah i just noticed that too...ness right??? i think that $11 was a special a little while ago. and the price does go down if you buy over 10 sheets too...but yeah i was like...wow i'll be adjusting my estimate ingredients on that one!

I was just informed the other day about the increases. Apparently one of the largest manufacturers had a serious fire at the plant. And the other factor is the petroleum prices.
I just orders (40) 4x8 sheets of 10 mil and paid $20.50 a sheet for twenty five or more. Some months I go through two hundred sheets.
I was paying $5.50 for the 4 mil and its now up to $6.70 for fifteen sheets or more.
I also think the demand for coro is higher than in years past. Coro is now being sold as a hurricane window barrier treatment although I'm not sure just how many people are using it for that.

Dead serious Bob. The 10 mil has been university tested to withstand a 2x4 being shot at 100 mph and it doesnt go through. It's purpose is to stop loose flying debris from going through the glass. I don't think I'd wanna test it myself.

I just found a supplier who will sell it to me at 8.66 a sheet if I buy 25 so I orderd 30 to meet my min. order of $250.00 but should save me at least $220.00

Hey guys, Check out HarborSales.net. Their web price is still $6.75 a sheet for 4' x 8'x 4mm white. Be sure to mention that you heard from them here. I think they're just about ready to start advertising

i did a 10 mil lease sign and its still up thru the hurricane.. well, the posts are not perpendicular any more,, but, its still there at a 60' angle....

All plastics are going off of the wall. Unfortunately the hurricane took out or slowed down a lot of resin plants. Many are based in the New Orleans area. We even had to deal with allocations for a month or so. Should settle down as we go.
You know it just like taxes they are never recinded

I saw this a while ago and decided to chime in (just ordered coroplast today I always order 25 sheets of this to get the better break, they let me mix and match the colors to white was $8.60 something and yellow was $9.16 per 4'X8' sheet.
