Didn't want to hijack The other post..

When your talking about the ultra sonic cleaner are you talking about the same type I use for my Drafting/Rapidograph pens and/or the jewelry type Cleaners. (We have Both) and what do you use in them Thinner or just water. For my pens I use alcohol.

UltraSonic with a timer but without a heater and it must have a stainless steel tub.

You can use rapid remover as a cleaner, mineral spirits or just about any solvent you wish. Frank does it using water in the tub and the solvent in special containers which drop into the top which has 2 holes in it. I on the other hand use the solvent directly in the tub and either lay my brushes down into it or hang them depending on how I feel. Been doing it this way for 25 some odd years,

I purchased a good stainless steel Ultrasonic cleaner off of Ebay. I fill the tank most of the way up with water and suspend a jar filled with rapid remover in the center of that (You could fill the whole tank with RR I suppose). The brushes come out in 5 minutes with no paint on them.

This is the model I have
Genesis ultrasonic cleaner
You don't need one with a heater

I think Joey Madden or Magoo have a goods source for ultrasonic cleaners. I can't remember the name.

Hope this helps. I no expert, I just know enough to be dangerous [Smile]
