Does anyone have a preference in printers for heat transfers. I am using ThermoFlex but want to enhance with a printer for heat transfer.

Hiya Lynn,
Since you're already doing appliques, you should be 90% of the way there.
If you're looking to do small quantities, most of the consumer printer manufacturers (HP, Cannon, etc.) offer transfer papers where you can print using your color printer and apply with an iron or heat press. The papers should be available at the local office supply store.
Larger quantities can be outsourced through someone who owns an Edge and the L.T. series of color foils.
Large runs should be screenprinted. Fortunately, there are several 'heads here that can provide you with that service.
Here's an interesing article...

If you want a source for for much larger applications like banners and tradeshow display booths, email me [Smile]

Havin' fun,

Checkers
