Here's little project i did over the weekend. Some of you might think it's a bit much but keep in mind this is a lowrider.. and it's what they wanted. For me to just "Go off on it!" The top, sides, and bottom.

Nice Jpb PeeWee,nice choice of color to work with the frame look. For those who haven't been close to this guy's work...he's one bad ass striper.

Thanks Jack (how ya been?).. Oh just the look on their faces when he came and got it and the compliments his buddies gave makes it all worth the 6 hours I had in it ( 3 two hour stints over the weekend).. And the money helps too! and now for the fire wall and wheel wells!

I am not qualified to really post on a striping thread, but when I first saw this post I thought this job was beautiful. To me striping is so personal to the object that is being striped and PeeWee really brings out the character in that frame.
Funny how your striping makes an object as boring and clunky as a car frame become an object of beauty.

I will post the other photos... an soon as the car is painted. The rest of the suspension and exhaust is supposed to be chrome. The car is a '58 impala convertible that will be Turquoise with a white top. he plans on leaving the car pretty clean ( not much striping on the exterior) just pretty wild on the chassis. No hydraulics just a bunch of mirrors and a couple tires off at the shows.. thanks again.

That is a dad-gum MASTERPIECE Peewee! Can't wait to see the rest. Your style is quite unique and very graceful. I sure wish I could stripe, I just fake it. You are an inspiration! Love....Jill Posts: 8834 | From: Butler, PA, USA | Registered: Jan 2001

Hey Dale.. what if we just weld this frame to your floor?.. Na that would never work... but when I get back up to Reno I have to at least add a little more! Magoo , my garage is 24x40 x 10' ceiling just big enough, but way too small! And I had to laugh at the spray gun!( I had to go back up to the picture and see what you were lookin' at) Stripin' frames sure beats stripin' burros in the home land!

Uh Ya!!! burros? Don't you get hazard-pay when doing one of them, dutchn' their deck lid has it's own problems, two come to mind real quick....
Nice design work on icebox, meant to mention that earlier, you or one of our San Jouquin(spl.?) friends? I would, if pressed, knowing you didn't; lend towards Ralph or Clines or Mallicoat, either way, nice.....tell us about that fixture, seems not to be what it looks like...

Magoo, I did that.. many moons ago( 12yrs) when the wife and I weren't even married yet I spotted this old ice box at an old auto repair shop yard sale. I said, "I kinda liked it". Next thing I know she surprised me with it (to bad it wasn't a corvette!) all rusty and everything. And I lugged it around for a few years till I built my garage/ shop and painted her up and made it my paint storage little cabinet. Someone gutted the insides before I got it. So I made her look kinda original and striped it all up. Did I ever tell ya the story of my old Honda trail 70?

Icebox caught my attention, you did good, like it, when I die, can I have it? And no, you didn't tell me story about Honda Trail 70, but I suspect you're gonna....lol
Now I have to go and find a "moaner". Soaking wet from sweater.........................smell too...wanna whiff?

Picture me and her on a trail 70.. she was on the back out riding some trails when I popped the question. (The best thing I ever did), anyway I sold the bike back in 98 when I was going to build the shop. And I regretted it ever since. I gave the kids rides on that thing when they were babies. So a couple months ago I bought it back (same price)from the guy I sold it to. He took it from here and put it in a shed since then and never touched it. Well the little 70 is in my shed now waiting for my little grand child to be old enough to hang on to the bars of that big bad ass 1970 honda 70! and by the way she still rides on the back ,but now on a roadglide... take care!
