Well..now that I can finally create something with Flexi, can someone tell me why everything I cut with my Graphtec is not the size Flexi tells me it is?
one small job was 96% of the original size
another was 91% of the original size
(called Graphtec, my plotter checks out OK)
also worked fine when cutting from my reliable Gerber select software)
ANYONE had this problem????

Yeap!
Thats how I know that if I cut one job 104% it would be the RIGHT size. I was hoping I could figure out that it would always need to be cut at a certain % but... its always different! (depending on the size)
Any other ideas???

Hi Kelly...

What model cutter do you have? FC 7000? We are aware of a problem with Flexi when using a USB cable...has something to do with "poll size" and "show me" functions, whatever they are. There is a patch available from Flexi to fix either / both...but you could also use a Graphtec serial cable and that will cure the problem too...I think. Call our tech support for more accurate info.

Kelly,
I had a problem with Flexi not cutting the whole job when I clearly had enough room for it. I have a GCC cutter and sometimes I have to increase the material size to the max it can go - in other words instead of using poll size - I put in 15" x whatever. Also I noticed by selecting Roland for my cutter on Flexi sometimes works better than actually selecting the GCC cutter. Does that make sense? Let me know if this helps at all.

Kelly...

Please give me a call, will you?

I'll see if there's anywhere to go with this. If the tech said it's not the cutter, then it probably isn't; but, we may be in the best position to resolve the issue.

Kelly,
What version of Flexi are you using?
Is it a cracked version?
