After years of wishing that Corel would select objects by colour like signlab, I just found out how I can do this.. Also realized the power of the "Object Manager" and "layers"!!

I had a sign on the screen, the lettering has a blended centre, outline and outline/shadow. There is a blended background, borders etc.. a huge list in Object Manager. I grouped all objects that were together and renamed them with appropriate names and put things like backgrounds in one layer, borders in another, text in another, pictorial in another. You can then turn off layers to view certain things, lock them so you can still see but not edit. WOW!!

This might be basic Corel knowledge to some, but I found it quite a handy discovery.. I have used layers in Photoshop before where dealing with pixelated items can turn into a real mess when working in 1 layer. I never thought about layers in Corel.
