Phoebe turns 1 year old on December 21 -not that far away. She continues to amaze me daily with all she learns.
I have her in the studio this morning, and am trying to do a little design work while whe gets into everything... its her job.
She loves to read books, first I read it to her with great enthusiasm (my version), and then she reads it back to me (her version). Its great fun!
Today she found my giant atlas and so we had a great time exploring the world and learning about geography. She tells me she wants to travel as she gets older. I had told her many wonderful stories of our journeys in great detail.
As I got into my work Phoebe got kind quiet.... then you KNOW there's trouble. She had found a pen and was drwing on the papers she had scattered on the floor earlier. Her mom had told me she was now into drawing last week, but I hadn't seen any results as of yet.
I grabbed my camera and snapped this pic. I also scanned my first (of many I'm sure) drawing produced by Phoebe for your enjoyment. I think she shows GREAT PROMISE ALREADY!!!!! I still have some treasured drawings made by our kids when they were young - framed and proudly hung on my studio walls.
Having fun with Phoebe in the studio...

What I want to know is how they can crouch like that for long periods of time! It puts the arms at perfect ground level. I know, I know, she just isn't bottom heavy yet.
She is as always adorable, Dan.
My Eliza is growing fast, she is incredibly smiley for a 7 week old. She must like her gramma.

You were very close Don. Very good try! It is a flying object.
Phoebe must be kinda hung up on Christmas, it being so close and all. It is actually a drawing of Rudolph. Animals are hard to draw - especially without live models!
So here's the interpretation as Phoebe explained it to me.
