I bought a 1978 moped last week, one of those impulse things,it doesnt run probably never will, but it's cute kinda like a girlfriend i used to havenice to look at but doesnt do any thing. any way i was thinking perhaps i could make it into some sort of signage and put it in front of my shop to attract business anyideas on how to incorpate a moped into a sign?

I once saw a pretty cool idea at a sign shop- They had taken a truck door (all lettered up) and mounted it some sort of steel post so it was just this nice looking door in the front yard that said something to the effect of "truck lettering." I think they had just the transom of a boat next to it also, saying "boat lettering" with the same idea. I guess that has nothing to do with a moped. But it was a great idea nonetheless. hmm, sorry.

A girlfriend that is akin to a moped? Heck, my ex-partner just told me that he is dating a bunch of mopeds. Claims that there is no shortage of 'em...

I'm sorry, I'm trying not to be that guy anymore. [Rolling On The Floor]

Hey Stan,
What about a design that will look like the moped just crashed through your sign? Maybe you can get people to stop and help?!?!? [Smile]

someone's gotta email me this joke about fat chicks and mopeds cause it's lost on me right now.

my brain is probably fried from listening to novelty/comedy Christmas music alllll day... just one of those moods.

Oh sorry... mopeds..

How about.... getting a small electric motor, use it tu turn the chain and use the rear wheel to turn something else, like a big ol' pinwheel or something kinda cheesy. [Smile]

Or stick it out front with an overstuffed Santa sittin on it.

That would have been Pete, one of the 2 partners.
When I was working with them he had a staffordshire bull terrier that was the shop dog.
I've got a Smithfield/Stumpytail cattledog X myself.
Smart dogs and cheap insurance, anyone that sticks their hand in a ute with a cattledog in it has rocks in their head.
Now theres a thought... cattle dog, bandana & sunnies sitting on a moped, that should get their attention.

Mike, The joke is...

What do fat chicks and mopeds have in common?

They are both fun to ride but you don't want to be seen on one...

Mopeds for dating... what a concept. Makes me wonder what those women would think if they knew that they were being refered to mopeds... [Rolling On The Floor]

mopeds for dating... Bruce, that makes me want to be there to see the action when they learn they're being referred to that way. That'd be better than pay-per-view. [Rolling On The Floor]

Karma baby karma. Just remember that.
