I have been printing stuff on our 30" Versacamm for a while now using only liquid laminates, I think its time to jump up to a real laminator. I was wondering what other people are using for laminators and how you like them.
I have called my dealer and he sells one called Royal Sovereign, anybody using one of these? He also has the Daige, but is trying to steer me away from that. So I am just curious what people are using and if they are happy.
My salesman told me that if I print on some specific oracal vinyl and use their laminate they will give me an 8 year written warranty, is this true?
What other brands of materials have warranties like this out there?
Thanks again everyone!! JAKE

The Daige is for amatures and lowballers who do not know any better. ITs a good basic machine (just barely) but will quickly lose its appeal the first time you ruin a sheet. I've got one, it works. Just barely.. when compared to a real lam machine...

Jake, We have been using USI brand laminator and have been more than happy with it. It has been in use for about 8 years. Also their brand of laminate and pressure sensative works well for us and nobody can beat their price. If you look at their machines they look just like Seal laminators. Maybe the same manufacturer.

of course i knew you'd ask that...if you call seal and ask for some of their distributors then you can get quotes. i want to say it was from the carolinas or georgia...when you call seal ask for darren spitzer...he could recommend a distributor. i'm sorry i just don't have the name handy...but they had a great price....granted no training or in person delivery but i figured it out fine.

I have the 62 also, not the pro hot model like Karyns'. Think I paid right at $6k delivered. Good machine but I seldom use it. Pretty to look at though.
