I remember Nettie loved IKEA when she visited Edmonton...Now I remember why I shiver every time I think of IKEA. This was a couple of years back. Man that was a cold install! Brrrrrrr. No snow yet this winter, but it's only a matter of time.

Good Morning Everybody! Thanks for the great Birthday wishes!
Yes it's true I used to be a chat colour bar addict with Donna! hahahahaaa, they were pretty groovy! We almost went blind dishin' them out. Oh yeah, and remember "Shout" and "I saw the signs"?. heehee Yeah, now those were the fun chattin' days!
Duncan, I would just love a shopping spree at IKEA. I just wish they'd get around to getting one in my neck of the woods.
Amy ... 5am! Holy Moly! ... and I thought I was a hard core shopper! (pssst, find any good buys?)
It's been a great birthday for me this year. It started a day early when, after Thanksgiving dinner, I had oodles of b-day presents to open!
Among my favourite gifts were a gold ankle bracelet from my mom, and six real lead crystal wine glasses from my cousin Eva, who hauled them over all the way from Budapest! I also love the nice flowery patio umbrella already strung with lights from Dave. (since I've lost two now to hurricane winds)
On Friday we tried out a new restaurant and had a terrific meal in a wonderful atmosphere. I topped it off with a Mint Chocolate martini for dessert. YUM.
Thanks so much for helping me celebrate my birthday with all the great birthday wishes and the smiles!
