take up smoking... then you won't smell it. [Smile]

seriously, I don't think anything will work. I got a good deal on an antique, but I had to get rid of it because I could never get that smell off.

Get a cat. Eventually the cat will pee on it and you will have a different odor. [Rolling On The Floor]

Charcoal bricks (for grills) absorb odors. Not sure if it would work on a monitor though. For a room, you'd lay some around & swap them out after a few days when they lose their effectiveness.

Stan...Just let the monitor sit there for a few months and the smell WILL go away.

BUT Dan's suggestion is the best one!

I've only had my LCD monitor for a couple of weeks but I love it. Had to turn the brightness down to the lowest setting cuz it was making my photogrey spectacles darken into "sunglasses" mode! [Rolling On The Floor]

Stan;

Yellow page a company that does fire cleanup, they have access to a product that eliminates it once and for alltime in one application, don't know if it comes is spraycans......some of those companies will spray it for you.....

If not, try Faberge'........

Put it outside & get a duster gun attached to an air compressor hose to blow the dust out- that'll help a lot, & is easy, though it won't solve all of it.

Sell it to a smoker, and take that money to offset the cost of a new one.
