I do some heat transfers. It may be in the paper or inks that you use. Pressure and time both effect the outcome. If I can be of any help, don't hesitate to call, email etc.

Blake- I tell people that inkjet prints are just temporary prints- family reunions, trade show, etc. I always press the print as instructed and then when I get all the items done I press them again. Seems to set the print better. I also tell the customer to have everyone wash it inside out in cold water w/ NO soap the first time. After that launder as usual. Hope this helps.

I have found that Epson, Canon, Xerox and the opther inkjet manufacturer's own brands of tranfer paper work very well and last almost as long as the Tshirt.
Unfortunately, almost all stores now carry Avery's stuff, and it is as bad as their vinyl! IT quickly fades and/or peels away.
