Actually I didn't wipe out too badly at all. I just stumbled all over the place for a little bit trying to regain my balance before ultimately stepping off the side of the exercise path and into some soft dirt which pitched me sideways into a sand pile.
It's getting rediculous though. I ducked out of work early to go skating today (everything's done til Tuesday and I'm headin outta town for the weekend) and I lost yet *another* wheel! This time it was the real wheel on that same skate - I got pitched forward but regained balance quickly and just balanced my weight on the other skate and coasted to a stop - then had to walk 2 miles - barefoot (with socks) back to the truck.

Dude, get your arse a pair of Flipflops and carry them in your 12 pocket short's leg pocket!
They'll be Reallll Nice in the summer, when this little stunt could cost you 5 layers of skin. (Walking home barefoot in the desert.)
... unless you wear them tighty mighty biker shorts! Then you'll have to hire a seamstress. (Oh this begs for the bantering of rapid jokes!)
Mike, you little StudMuffin take care and check the bearings on the REST of your wheels. Dude... rookie Gearhead move.
