an individual is running for a school board in your area, what rules apply to disclaimers on the signs? Can the sponsor be from another state? I cannot get a hold of anyone locally here that knows, or I get voicemail, although I was interested in hearing what it is in your neck of the woods.

Here it's the Committee name and registration number and also the address. I ususlly print it about 30 pt on our yardsigns.
Your local county clerk should have the information that you need.

Deb, in the state of Indiana the disclaimer has to state who paid for the signs, be it the candidate themselves, a treasurer or a committee.
