I just got off the phone with my Roland sign supplier. Seems that Roland has a nationwide shortage of the new Max inks in the Lt. Cyan and Lt. Magenta colors. Once you run out of those two colors you may not be able to get them replaced anytime soon. That means your printer is useless.
Does anybody have a set of Magenta cartridges in the old ink for the Soljet? I called to have my inks switched over today and just found out the news.
I also just checked Rolands user forum and the word there is that Roland has stopped selling any new machines until they get the new Max inks back into the supply system.
This is some very serious bad news! I hope its not as bad as it has the potential to be.

Hi Folks Doug Downey & I are just back from Roland University, the ink situation is being worked on and will be resolved in a couple of weeks We here at Canadian Signcrafters do not have stock of the old inks but we do have stock of the new inks including Light Cyan & Light Magenta email me I will send you our price list. Remember you must switch all inks to the NEW Max inks at once. The potential of the Versa Camms are amazing and Roland assures us they will sort this out as quickly as possible, and no we have not stopped selling them, the sooner you get on the list the sooner you will have your machine.
