I have a older model ford truck with a slide in pickup camper on it.I was thinking it might be insteresting to paint the whole thing to look like a giant crocodile since that the name of my business.but Im not sure how to transfer the idea in to a working model any thoughts or ideas on doing something like this?

I see dimensional reality . . . [Wink]
It would be cute of you could paint the camper shell like the sides of a big ol' croc and add a tail hanging off the back, legs off the side and a big head looking over the cab . . . . [Razz]

(legs and tail internally supported with angle-iron welded on plates bolted to camper shell, covered in expandable foam & carved to reality. Would'nt it be cool to use real 'gater claws for those!!! [Big Grin]
The head: carved HDU/mouth open, teeth showing, etc.

Sign copy on the truck body.

And in the crocs mouth?
A half-eaten sign-panel with some cute motto like:
'We beat the competition . . .' (with the 'B' crossed out) [Razz]

Mabey you could make different half-eaten signs to change for holidays and such:

(In February: A real-looking half-eaten box of chocolates [Razz]

At Christmas, a santa hat on the croc and the half-eaten sign that says:
'HO-HO-HOooooooooooooo!!!!'

Other half-eaten signs:

~'Got signs?'

~'Creativity...it's what's for dinner."

~'I gotcher sign . . .'

~'See you later alligator! Call 333-444-5555

I'm sure you can think of even more sayings.

(since I can't post thumbnails, please take this idea to Swatsky for a simulated drawing, if he gets a break from the MCWWF wars) [Wink]

I've got a great design for ya!!

... but my ftp software is broken [Frown]

no seriously, you got our attention... hundreds of dollars an hour worth of professionals thinking up a possible suggestion for you.. get a pic up somehow, so that energy is not wasted. got a pic? email it, I'll post it for you, or google an identical one, I'm thinking the thing has to be out of proportion, so make the entire cab all head, teeth & snout... slightly opon mouth on both sides so the the front of the hood ends with a row of top teeth... the rest of the hood is croc textured snout skin & whatever characteristic nostrils of anatomically correct features to make it believable... the rest of the truck is scaley skin texture with front & back feet & knees... then the tail could be doubled back over itself so the lack on length for a scale representation is less of an issue, & the croc could be more proportionatelt low slung leaving room above the back for that tail (this would occur on both sides) tailgate? dont ask!
