Hi all,
I need to heat press names/numbers on the back of motocross jerseys which are 100% polyester. I am using Roland's opaque heat transfer material with designs printed on a Roland Versacamm. I've had good luck heat pressing onto 100% cotton & 50/50 cotton/poly blend t-shirts with 385 degrees for 12 seconds. I'm afraid of melting these poly jerseys. Anybody had any experince with this?

With "polyester" you shouldn't have a problem. Just be sure you are not confusing polyester with nylon. Nylon is a whole different animal and is easy to get mixed up.

OK. Thanks Glenn. I thought that these MX jerseys were a nylon product, but the labels on the 2 I have here now, say 100% polyester. Any idea if hockey jerseys are the same?

Just in case anyone even cares, I found that 350 degrees at medium pressure for 6 seconds worked for me
