I've always looked forward to Bob's cartoons in SignCraft and bought his book as soon as it came out. I could usually relate to every one of them.
Ray, that sketch is awesome.
There is a lot of talent on this board. After 25 years in this business I was burnt out and then I found this place. The talent here never ceases to amaze me. Just hanging around here has been an inspiration and got me out of my sign funk.
Thanks everyone.

This is too much fun. Thanks Bob for your lead...let's get some more of you folks putting pencil to paper. Hey Stevo, how about showing us your take on Bob Parsons.

I think Signcraft probably still have 100s (?) of them left, Rod, and they're not dear. I got a copy from one of the Brisbane sign materials suppliers a few years ago- they were clearing old stock- it's a great book- about $15.

I have Bob's book also. I have already gone through it. It was great. It amazes me how folks can do cartooning and it looks like it is suppose to look, but usually in a warped way. Bob, we could always find a place for your crew to sleep and eat here in the South should you ever decide to travel this way. You could come to Sonny's meet next Oct.in 2006.
