For those of you who'd like to know what Stewart just said in 'southern', here is the translation:
"Hey girl, how are you all doing in the South? You're first (pronunciation) attempt was close, for sure, but maybe, then again, a mix between Tross-acks and trawsix, or trawsax even, there or there abouts would get you here, if you were trying to get a ride. Very soon, I'm going to put up a list of websites that people can log onto and check out what's available in the Trossachs and surrounding area. As you know, all round Stirling is steaped in history. Be watching for these sites to appear, soon for sure."
See?? Sweet Suthun' Kuntry slang is VERY easy!

Regarding the pronunciation of CH in Trossachs.. To make it easier for you ..Imagine a fly has flown into your mouth and is now stuck in your throat.. Now the noise you make trying to cough it up..that is the CH sound..

Hola, fellow Scotland brothers, just found out the McVargas's are related to Rob Roy MacGregor, they were primos (cousins) from the fathers side. From what my abuelito told me, his abuelita was Maria Vargas, who some how got misrouted on her way to Spain and ended up in Scotland. She didn't have a job and didn't speak English very well, But Margaret Campbell, wife of Donald Clas, Chief Clan Gregor. Took her in because she knew how to make tortillas, salsa, beans, and rice. Doanld was the father of Rob Roy a Highland Farmer. I can't remember all the details, but I remember abuelito saying something about she was part of helping Rob escape from the jail they held his father in when his wife Margaret died. Kind of a sad story, because Rob Roy was an educated fellow, but he was also known as the Highland Hero, to some He was an outlaw, a thief, or a dedicated family man, depending on how you look at it. So look out Scotland, and let "Nessie" know Cisco is coming to capture her on film. That'll pay for my trip over there
