Reminds me a bit of my college days. We could get very creative with furnishings.

But, it would be a match made in Heaven if you later found out that her apartment is filled with UPS box furniture.

I still have a nail barrel for an end table in my living room! I like the "rustic look" myself!

LOL!! He's a real FedEx-Head, huh?

I bet Fed uses him for a commercial . . .what's theyr'e motto? 'See what FedEx can do for you." or something like that . . .the guy will be rich and famous but STILL have Fed furniture . . . [Razz] [Wink]

Like Jared for Subway, now we'll have Jose for FedEx!!

When I was about 17, some crazy events left me homeless for about 2 weeks.
After the dust settled, I had only an old black trunk and a cardboard box full of everything I owned, which someone let me store on their porch until I found a place to live. I never really lacked for money and always had a job, but all the affordable apartments were full in that 2-college town and available apartments were way out of my range.

I finally found half an empty room to rent. A sheet partition was used to turn the other half into a hallway for privacy from the house owner and various party-people & college students who wandered through daily going to the attached bathroom.

I found another small box and turned the boxes upside down to have the stronger taped-side up and threw tabelcloths from the thrift store over them. The larger one was my dresser and the smaller one was my bedside end table where I eventually placed a small lamp I found on the side of the road.

I owned one pair of boots and one pair of sandals in those days . . . .

ah...but life was practically simple then. . . [Razz]
