Looking For a supplier for Stencil material.
Not Vinyl but the brown looking stuff. where you cut out the letters and use it over and over again. Or a Vendor that will cut them out for you.

Thanks Ray [I Don t Know]

Steve
I just talked to harbor sales, one of the suppliers I use. They will cut out anything I need for 4.95 a Sq ft. min of 5 sq ft.
Made from a Poly something, like thin plastic I think.
I may have these guys do it for 25.00 and charge 50.00 and never touch it.
It's for a Hunt club and they don't want to spend any money, if they don't have to.
Looking for the cheapest way out, theirfore I do not want to put a lot of time in it. Or the expense of a roll, and have the rest as left over, which I may be stuck with.
I think this may do the trick.
Thanks for your reply so soon.
Ray

Hiya Ray,
It's probably polystyrene. It works well as a stencil.
Don't forget that harbor quotes routering and material costs seperately. To be safe, I always send the file to the cut shop and have them quote it.

Cheers,

Checkers

...Ray, I use old plastic sheets of (Letraset) press-type. I have tons of it that I will never use for rubbing down letters again.

Ray,
I have ordered several different stencils from Stencils On Line. I just create the file and email it to them and they cut it. They laser cut the stencils and can do decorative type stencils also. I have been very pleased with their product. They are located in Franklin,NH.
Check them out :

Good catch, Billy Bob. Bet lots of folks have that stuff and would like to get some use of it. How do you set it up on a plotter?
