nahhh.. you just leave a trail of 1842's behind you Karyn... & later, they'll all be 1843's, but you had to know that already right? [I Don t Know]

I do have ADHD and my shop, desk, car, room, it stays a mess. Now don't get me wrong here, I do organize it very well, but one job...just ONE job can turn it into hurricane alley!

Funny thing is, I can find most of my stuff...that is, until my wife cleans up the desk, and then I'm totally lost!

Forget it when my MIL tries to clean up a desk! I can't find anything after that! She IS compulsive and do strange repetitive things. I just wish she doesn't do that on my desk!

We just found out this year, my son has OCD. He is ten yrs old & I really feel sorry for him. It's toally intrusive and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. He has the germ phobia and intrusive thoughts which are unusual and he can't get rid of them. Sometimes he will go all day with a bad thought he can not get out of his head. This has been a bad year for our family and especially for my son Taylor.

Wana rid yourself of clutter? MOVE!

Crap strewn everywhere gives me anxiety. I still have too many boxes with no storage, so in order to make room for something, I have to MOOOOVE the boxes to another corner. Over and over and over again. I resigned to lose the basement for pleasure and use it for my biz because I couldn't stand working in a tight confined space and 'making' it work. Forget it, the basement is MINE. I get no joy out of no desk space, no room to stand up and turn around, no windows to look out. Nope, can't do it! My work will suffer! I need my space, my air to make me creative.

Patterns make me run from a room. Too busy for my mind. I even refuse to WEAR patterns. LOL! I like cleaning up a room, then when it's time to flick the lights out and leave it, it looks picture perdy. If it doesn't, (ie: bad decorating patterns from a previous owner), I leave the room/flick out lights alot quicker... crap looks like a crooked sign to me.

Some would move into a house and just hang in there with their decorating until they renovate. Not me. (wish I could stand to do that) Each room has too look good as is even though I plan to change everything eventually. I had stuff artfully hanging on the walls when I hadn't even unpacked kitchen stuff yet.

You women will understand this one. One week out of the month, LOOK OUT. Everything in my way WILL be tossed and/or cleaned spotless. NO if ands or buts! Gotta love that week and use it to my full advantage cuz it's my most productive week outa the entire month. Just stay out of my way...

I won't even tell you about my new/old/yuck/ugly laundry room floor. I can't think when I look at it. My laundry continues to pile up cuz of the floor. That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it!

Yeah, guess you can say I have a few hangups. [Smile] But I'd rather have this and have a great lookin' house than the opposite. Happy decorating all!
