I'll second Steve on that one. Red and blue will wind up muddy or even a maroon color since the reds have yellow content in them. Refex Blue and Light Magenta makes a real pretty lighter Purple. Process Blue and Light Magenta makes an even lighter Purple. Red and blue will never make a purple but the others are somewhat correct in their selections. I personally use Reflex Blue and Rubine Red which acts more like a toner which I also use to make Magenta. Purples are bluish, so add more of the blue otherwise you'll get a grape and when lightened, a violet. I also add white to the purple mix to achieve the color and will have great coverage. I hope you realize that Purple is almost Black. I really can't help in my answers as I'm so friggin much of a perfectionist that I sometimes get into trouble with others regarding my thoughts and how I see colors. I mix alot of color for longevity as well. -------------------- HotLines Joey Madden - pinstriping since 1952 'Perfection, its what I look for and what I live for' http://members.tripod.com/Inflite http://www.pinheadlounge.com/hotlinesjoeymadden
