I find that stabilo pencils get gummy when the temp goes up above 80 F and grease pencils are, well, greasy.

What do you use on a very hot day, especially on vehicles and windows?

I have posted this many times before...but I don't mind doing it again...go to the best stationary or office suply you have in your town and tell them you need to order some "Pentel Sign Pens" the best color is "Ochre" it will not stain and works on nearly every color but black...(sorry you'll have to use a white stabilo on that)
I buy them by the box and it costs around 15 dollars.

They are totally water soluable and you can letter or apply vinyl right over the mark in less than a minute.

Donna in BC uses Staedler water soluable pens (fine tip) I like them also...but prefer my "Pentels"

I don't ahve the part number but I could aquire it if you need it to order.

Our office supply has them in in less than a week so they are very easy to aquire.

You'll like them ...otheres here have tried them and like them too.By the way a box of pens will last you a year or two (if you remember to put the cap back on [Smile]

The new stabillo's are crap, they scratch surfaces really badly. We use Staedlers too. They are also less prone to melting.

Ahh, how many times I have perspired blue sweat!

Don't put it behind your ear with the point facing backwards in the hot sun.

Charcoal Ray! Chalk gets lumps under the edge paint or vinyl [Smile]

Monte's idea is best. I use it. Problem is sometimes they fall onto the floor into "Candy Territory" to be chewed into an unrecognisable blob. She doesn't like charcoal [Smile]

This is really great! Thanks!

Apparently, I need to look into Staedler and Pentels!

BTW, I did try the fridge a few years back, great for a minute or three, but as soon as you hit the hot truck....gloooop! [Mad]

[Thanks]
