For those of you who are familiar with and have been following our story, I made the 8 hour round trip to North Battleford yesterday to see Niki in her new "digs". I took her a print (Bill had a number of these made) of the Bill Heug painting that I purchased from the Renata Guzman Auction. I thought perhaps those of you who have expressed an interest in Niki might like to have a face to fill out the story. Thanks to all who have supported and listened. Kel
BTW the painting is stunning and far exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to have the frame on it and hang it in my home. Thanks so much Bill, for your talent and your friendship.

Thanks for posting the picture of Niki. I appreciate you sharing her (and your) life and struggles with me and continue to hope and pray that she continues to make good progress in her fight.
She looks a lot like you as I imagined.
Bill's print looks stunning even in the photograph, and I imagine the painting is much more so.
We are rooting for you and Niki!
