I need to know how to arrange a line of text- keeping the top straight and arching the bottom (or vice versa). I am working with FlexiPro 7.6 (or should I say trying to work with it). I have looked back through the manual and have been through the training cd's and must have missed it somewhere. All I am able to do is use the arch text tool, create a circle with the lettering wrapped around the circle. I want to create the arch at the bottom of text and keep the text perpendicular with a straight guideline at the top (instead of having the text following the circle)...is there an easy way to do this?

This is all SOOOOO OVERWHELMING being new to computers and vinyl- I'd appreciate any help. It was cool whippin out my first vinyl project- couldn't have gotten the 1-shot out in the time the cutter spit that vinyl out!! I can tell it's going to take quite a while to get what's in my little brain into the computer, but it'll be well worth it once I can do that!

Beth,

There are several ways to arrange text, but I think I know what you want to do.

Set your text and then go to the distortion module. There is one sample showing the top of the object rounded and the bottome strait. If you look in the box below, there are two F's, one on top of the other. Click on that Icon and the bottom of the letters will be curved as you like.
