Number 3 is about the coolest real estate sign I have seen and gets my vote.
And I heard you can't sell realtors nice signs.... maybe even in our town? I'll bet it can even be done here!
There's lots of great entries this month!

From the one I love a lot, to the one I love the most:
#10 #6 #3 #8 #9 #1 #7 #2 I LOVE the brick surround and the 'star' insets . . .
#5 . . .incredibley dramatic lighting on an incredibley awesome sculpture...
#4 is my first place pick because it's a 3-D sign and the use of the net was such a creative affect, along with those lovely hand-carved letters. . .is that smalts in the background?

First place for me, goes to #9. Reason: It's a sign that suits the ride that it's promoting, and it's unusual mounting method compliments it well.
I'd considered #8, but the deep shadows indicate that the lettering is probably raised too much. The photo shows us what that sign looks like from directly facing it, but perhaps a more oblique view might show that the very extremely raised letters would interfere with it's readability, and render it less effective. Tall returns that are the same finish/colour as the face of the letter tend to have this shortcoming.

There were three that I had narrowed it down to, but I kept going back to #1.
Bright colors and shapes without going overboard, grabs your attention, tells you the info in a split second, fits really well to the point of hardly even noticing the breaks in the windows.
I love the layout and wouldn't change a thing. I couldn't say that I didn't wonder about something for the other signs. Very rarely do I look at a sign and not think, hmmm... what if this was different, or that or whatever.
I wonder if that comes from back in sign school, when at the end of the week, we would all pull up the chairs in a half circle around the easel. Then each of our signs would be displayed and critiqued by each other and our instructor. Why does this work? Why doesn't that work? How would you do it differently and why?
You learn alot by listening to other's opinions. Even if you think what you did is perfect... someone might bring up a point that never occured to you, shedding a new light.
Maybe someday I'll do something good enough to enter!!
Great job, everyone!!

I had a hard time picking a favorite because they are all so good. #9 is my vote because of the way the type illustrates the concept. Very clever and fun. The color is great too. About 5 others share second place in my mind.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

Decisions, decisions...but I pick # 4. I think it has just the right amount of creativity added and is still conservative enough for a church setting. Well done.

I guess I'm weird but I really like number 6. The prices seem kinda tiny, but it's hard to tell how far away the copy needs to be read. After that, I like number 9. Shows the scariness of the ride...I'd wanna do it after looking at that sign.

The vibrant colors in #3 immediately grabbed my attention. A very hard choice to make just the same though. Congratulations to all! And thank you Jon for bringing this feature back.
