Hey Butterfield - quit stealing my Chocolates!!
I was saving those to bring to one of Kimberly's Gourmet dinners - wanted to share them for dessert.
(Bet ya can't eat just one!).
Shoot . . . I'll just hold a "Ladies Only" Chocolate Party cuz I know there won't be any left in your basket.

When I went out to get the paper this morning I found Yearwood's ribbon against my front door. What's with that?

Oops...did I go too far and say the wrong thing? My apology Mark...you're still the best in my book.

The yellow ribbon on my balcony is for my kid, Josh. He's in "only God knows where", Afghanistan for the next 12-18 months. Prayers for his safe return are appreciated.

This morning, a report of another helicopter goin down in Afghanistan. At least 9 sons dead. [Frown]

I sure wish I knew where he was, so I wouldn't freak out every time there's a report like this. But he isn't allowed to say, for obvious reasons. The eyes are getting regular flushings these days.

We will all pray for your son Don. I think everyone is touched in some way by our boys over there or knows someone that has relatives or friends over there. Some of these poor guys have had to go back more than once to serve over there.
We all need to remember them ALL in our thoughts! Hang in there, Don!

After all that Don's been through this past year, I have to imagine that the nuttiness here in the Renata Building is quite a distraction - and a welcome one at that.

All that's goin' on with him in his life and he still donates time and talents to this cause.

Sometimes I feel woefully inadequate - and damn lucky.

I was always taught 'good begets good - and bad begets bad'. Somehow I think Don doesn't have to worry about his son's safety. His actions here seem to dictate that a spirit will be watching over his son if that old adage holds true.

Three 'whoops' for Don - and one more for his son's safety and well being.

WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP!!

WHOOP!!

Ok Mr. Rick..send my package on up and no peeking inside like Bruce did.
Kimberly count me in for dinner but I will bring sweet ice tea for my beverage. [Smile] I see your cat finally made it back home...looks like he took care of Jill's chocolates.
Chocolates or chocolate mousse sounds great for dessert,Jackie.
Don, seems there is still a bit of wind down where you live. Praying for your son's safe return.
I see the Bisquick birdie has taken flight..watch out below!

Geez, I go away for the weekend to attend a race with my daughter and 150,000 other Nascar nuts and come back to find out I've been cloned!

What kind of a freakish building did I move into.....at least I have good neighbors...well at least some of them???

BTW, which one of you has the cloning machine? And can you possibly whip me up a copy of Halley Barry?

Hey Kim, I think you better cut back on the twinkie treats for your cat....gettin' a bit pudgy there!

I wish I had been here to see what has been going on!

Hey Don, hope your son is safe and far from harm over there!

Kim, can I come to your place to eat? All I have in my place is fish sticks and bulletin enamel....

take care

Hey! I thought Raymond was an honest guy, but I see he has scarfed your ribbon Mark. Did he get your flag too?

If that dude on the roof doesn't share his barbeque he may just end up looking like Kimberly's cat [Smile]

DId you notice the top half of the building levitating right above my suite.... I don't know how that happened... honest!

I suspect there's a great corn roast coming up soon too!

And I see the landlord finally fixed Bill's window. 'bout time! [Smile] He needs to get out his hedge clippers soon too.

Its great to see so much support for this great cause!

I would like to know when the high speed elevator is going to be installed. This building is getting so big that it would be easier to climb a mountain than do all those stairs. I was lucky to get in on the lower floor.

Jackie & Kimberly...I think the cat ate all of the chocolate - not Butterfield. Better stock up on some serious kitty litter Kim.

Dan, don't worry about me blowing up, Dale comes by from time-to-time to finish off all of the leftovers from the parties.

Riedel...I like the idea of an elevator but I've been thinking about getting a helicopter for my commute.

I'm gonna be away this weekend so could someone keep an eye on that Bisquick bird...I'm worried about big biscuit bombs on my patio and grille. I'd ask Kimberly to send up her cat to get it, but I think the poor thing might pop!

Don - your boy is in my thoughts and prayers.

Have a good weekend y'all.

Sorry about the flag. Was that a flag? I just thought it was more of that British guy's laundry that has been flying around. I used it for a paint rag...but you can have it back anytime Mark.

I still don't know the story about the blue ribbon.

Like I've said before, sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing. Maybe I did move the ribbon and just don't remember. Senior moment, you know.

Don, like all the rest of us, I pray the best for your son, and for you. It has to be hard to not know and to not be able to protect him like you did when he was young.

I think we'll have dinner in my dining room tonight rather than out on the patio. I'll even use the crystal and china.

Sautéed scallops of veal with mushrooms and shallots in a Vermouth Cream Sauce. Rice pilaf and sautéed zucchini.

Lemon meringue pie for dessert.

Please RSVP as I need to know how much veal to buy. [Wink] [Wink] [Wink]

Welcome to town Sonny!

If Deaton's Streisand music gets to you, just pitch some tater peels onto his balcony...He'll get the idea. [Wink]

What is that hanging over my name? And who put it there? Did it fall from the apt. above? Why couldn't it be a box of chocolates? That would be much better. When will we be seeing Jack climbing that giant beanstalk?
Is that enough of questions for today?

As far as I can tell, those items didn't come from up here, Bill. I'm not missing anything, but whose knows what was in that box on my balcony, before it was opened.
Miz Judy, is this yours? Does Roger know about this?

Those kittens are not mine,Santo. I believe someone emptied my package somewhere along the line. Bruce, who has the contents of my package? Last time I saw it unopened it was at your place. It seems Kimberly's cat used the empty box to deliver her kittens.
I'm with you Bill...I think Jack will be along soon to climb this bean stalk.
