What sort of equiment do you need to sandblast foam signs? I have heard that you can use a lighter duty compressor for foam instead of the large industrial ones. I have a 7hp, 60 Gallon compressor, that puts out 10.3 cfm at 90 psi. Can I use this to sandblast foam signs or is it still too light duty?

you will find that it will work, but not very efficiently. after about 5 minutes of blasting you will have to stop and let the compressor recharge for 10 or 15 minutes. cheers!

You need some real power to do a satisfactory job.
Aside from taking a long time with a 7hp compressor, you won't be able to get a nice smooth even background.
I would strongly recommend you find an outlet for this kind of work. Although we are still sandblasting, if I were starting over, it would be left for someone else.
