Looking back on the search, I found the window tint post about removal. I just wondered if anyone had any clarification about the removal with saving the defroster lines on the window. Is it safe to use the removal products mentioned and not disturb anything?

You can use Rapid Remover for the adhesive , after you use heat to pull the film !

Deb-
My brother has been window tinting for almost 30yrs. I asked him your question, he said, Remove the film then use soapy water and a hard squeege ( like the ones we use to apply vinyl) to scrape across the defoger. You may have to do it a couple of times ,but is will come off.

Rapid Remover works great, as well as ammonia... i prefer the rapid remover.. big thing is to not use a razor blade..... best to use is a scrunge pad white.. or reallly really fine steel wool, and a plastic squeegee
