One of my clients, a mid-sized advertising company was asking me if I could find someone to paint a sign in Brooklyn new york. I am not seeing a lot of guys painting signs these days, everyone is going digital printing, is there anyone still interested in this type of work in the new york metro area? The size is about 20ft X 50 ft, so apparently you need a boom truck or crane to do it.
And also do we need to get a permit for painted signs? thansk.

Well Peter after reading your post, if you get all the right permits, lifts and 'if Mike' goes. Get me a flight and set me up, throw a few dollars in my pocket...I'll join him. I never been to New York and that would be a good reason to see the Big Apple!!

It turns out that the location is in a C1 zoning area, which basically means we can not put any sign more than 150sqft. That silly law was written back in the 60s and should have been changed long time ago. errrh, it really sucks.
