Hello folks, my little mule, the Roland PNC-950 is acting up for the first time in 8 or so years since I bought it. This just started a few days ago. As it is cutting vinyl the signal seems to get interupted for a split sec. then it carries on few another few secs(10-20) then again hesitates. This happens in both cut and pen modes. The job does get cut but this cann't be good. This morning I replaced the cable and the problem still exists. With all the wisdom and talent that is out there I am sure someone has some idea what the problem is. Please help my little mule.
Thks. D. Smith

Did you try re-installing the driver or downloading an updated driver for it? My CX-24 acted up real bad last week & somehow the driver had went screwy. Re-downloaded from www.rolanddg.com & all is well. DO NOT go to the american site for Roland as at least a couple drivers there are bad.

You don't say whether you are cutting via serial port or printer port,...sometimes this happens when you use a printer port,... as the spooler in windows sometimes has to wait it's turn for system resources,....thus the hesitation ,...
