Not really ... few bells & whistles.
I thought 10 worked well.

did you install service pack 1 & 2 for corel 10?

In ver.9 ctrl-shift+A would open the copy properties box however in ver.12 now it doesnt work with hot keys. I'm very upset about that.

Sorry Karyn I dont know what the problem is with your ver.10

I've never used the "copy properties" so I have no idea what is going on.

Dave its quite handy! And there is a command in 12 to do it but much prefer hot keys for it.

Karyn,
I only have the lowly Corel9. I am stating the obvious probably, but...

First, select your Newly Created Object that you wish to Modify.

Next, hit Ctrl, Shift, A, and the Outline, Outline Color, & Fill choices appear. Mark the appropriate boxes!

At this point, you should be able to click on the Object you wish to Copy Properties from, and Presto!

Easier still, you can Right Click on the Object you wish to Copy and then DRAG it onto the new Object. The dialogue box will ask you what you want to Copy to the new Object!

Maybe you have an object locked or something?

Karyn with a good understanding of corel and your new versacamm, you will unleash the impossible. You have no idea how much fun is in store for you. Now you can focus on design and to hell with methods.

If you "right click" on the object you want to copy from and drag it(holding right mouse button) to the object you want the properties copied to and let go, a window will open asking "copy fill, copy outline, copy all properties, etc. Just click the appropriate one and it happens. I didn't know there was a hot key for it.

karen, open corel, open help then go down and click on ABOUT. look for version 10.427. if you dont see this you need the 2 updates fpr corel 10 from corel web site. and you have to install #1 1st then #2. ive had 10 for a while now and its as rock solid as 7.467 was.
i always stay 1-2 versions behind. i don like "beta testing".
