Ok, gang, This is the first time I have tried this but I know I'm doing something wrong. Jillybean showed me but my retention for computers are nil. Anyway, this lady was on the Bullboard and was talking about wall jobs and walldogs. Fortunately, I was one. Thought I would relate a story. We used to paint one on top of a 15 story building. To get there you had to go through the elevator shaft. Once outside there was what we called the wall of fame. It included all the names of the construction guys, signpainters and maitenance men who first worked the billboard. It went back to 1930, with all the names and signatures. Unfortunately, they are all stretchfaces now and they're talking about tearing the building down. So I hope to get up there and get a photo or two. Bout damn time you got on here Mr. Bill! For as good as you are with wet blends, well, let's just say you're a great signpainter that is technically challenged. THANK GOD you figgered it out! Now I can harass you. To find that post, go back to the main BullBoard page by using your back button. Up in the right corner there is a little box where you can select how many days' worth of posts you want to peruse. That thread is about 5 days old, and it has Wall Dogs & Ghost Signs in the title. Hey Bill, Welcome aboard! I had fun helping you paint the Foodland Mural at Mars. Did you lose your pictures of it in the flood? I can reprint the ones you sent me if you want.
