I got a Christmas card from Bob Harper today and this photo was inside. Thought you might enjoy seeing it so here it is.

How does he do his hair that way [Smile]

Glad to hear from him [Applause]

If you think he has nice hair, you ought to see some of his work.
I have never met the man, but I have seen some of his work, and he is truly an old school craftsman like we seldom see anymore, and letterers like him should be an inspiration to us all.

Deb,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting that. I've been thinking about him. He's such a sweet man. He called me right after my dad died and we had a nice chat.

Merry Christmas Deb.

I stayed all night at Bob's in 2002 on the way to Fred's meet in Oklahoma. Here is a link to some of his work Bob showed me when he lived in Missouri. I enjoyed the books of his show card work and hope to make a trip to Cincinnati, OH to see his work there.

Bob Harper's work

Bob looks better now in this recent photo then when I took his picture in 2002 when he had a broken arm.

Aww what a sweetie.
Look at those twinkly blue eyes!
I've only gotten to talk to Bob on the phone but he seems like a neat guy.
Thanks for sharing, Deb.
Glad to hear he's still alive and kicking!
Love....Jill
