It is snowing and blowing and -19°C in Underwood Ontario right now. The roads are closed due to poor visibility. Looks like the snow is here for the winter.

The sand around here is pretty white other than that, not a chance. It's 74° at the moment and is only supposed to cool down a few degrees by the end of the week.

now more than 8" of snow on the ground i know can be a white chrismas here an i see a lot of people go in shoping center..........i dont like xmas time.im same the grinch.....i think xmas is juste a gif an comercial day.......... the only best is the new years day i pass this on a big party whit friends.........xmas..i can be happy see this passed annyway...white xmas in quebec city its sure c-ya

Having grown up in Michigan and stationed in Cut Bank, Montana, ...Loring, Maine and an Island up by Siberia where we had over 35 Ft of snow before winter was over.....I have seen enough snow.
I'll be satisfied looking at the pictures.
Its supposed to be about 14 F here tonight...cold enough to snow, but it probably won't.

Our snow is all gone again! My son checks the weather channel every day, but no snow in sight yet. He's dyin to get the skidoos out!! It just doesnt' feel like Christmas is only a week away.

Suelynn...The snowmobiles are out in full force today. And, at 6:20 pm, it is already down to -22 C.
That is WAAAAAY to cold for my liking!

woohoo.. My wife's uncle "tractor-man" was just here with his John Deere and the 8'blower on the back, blew out about 16" of snow drifts out of the driveway.. That guy is great!!

Just wonderful... 3 degrees here this mornin. I can't wait to get out there and climb around on some billboards. I hate my job from Christmas to Easter.
They're predicting ~5"~ of snow for wed-thurs.

It'd be nice to see a white Christmas, and I promised the girls we could satisfy their curiosity and see one at some point. For the time being at least a white Christmas will be the glare from the swimming pool or the flashes of lightning of an evening during storm season. Both have their attractions but for the moment at least, I like Santa in board shorts and a Mambo T Shirt.

yep its white and presently snowing...gee i guess i can't drive thru the notch and letter 3 vehicles....i don't risk my life(or the chance of skiddin off the road)lol...to work...i got plenty i can do here til the roads are better.
but white it is!

We have a good foot of snow plus the height of the snowbanks from cleaning the walkways & driveways.
When I woke up this morning it was -33C, that's -25F for our US buddies, now if you calculate the windchill factor, try -44C. At these temps, you spit outside and it's frozen before it hits the ground.
Guess what the kids look like when they're waiting for the school bus in the morning.
So all you fellow Letterheads that live in places like Florida, California or Hawaii, when you drive to your shop in a light drizzle with maybe a cool 62F blowing in your hair.......think of all the jealous ones out there !!!

Hey GEET! You need to put a lazy boy recliner out there like the rest of us "zonies" and call it an "Arizona Room"..
No snow in the desert but I'm headin to St Louis on Christmas Day - they're lookin down the barrel of a snow storm slated for Wednesday and Thursday. By the time I get there the roads should be cleared off. My brother in law has never been beyond Tucson and L.A., he's gonna be in for quite a shock.

It snowed almost all day yesterday and only wound up with an inch. I don't think it got above freezing today.

55 Degrees here today, been like that since Monday Morning. Might have a round of golf Thursday if it stays warm. This is not unusual for St. John's, not the norm, but not unusual. Friday it will probably drop to around freezing. But there's no snow for Christmas. There was no snow last year either, I don't care if I ever see snow, bah Humbug on the snow.
