My wife and I will be in Phoenix to see my kids for a week after Christmas and was wondering if their are any heads in that area that we can stop by and bug.

I won't be home (traveling to St Louis for Christmas) but you should take a road trip and check out Lake Havasu City if you have the time during your stay. We're 3-4 hours from Phoenix but the area is beautiful with the blue lake, palm trees, mountains, sunshine, etc.

No No! Don't go see Lake Havasu....go south on I10 and see the country that makes a Colorado couple not mind moving to the desert Grab those kids up and come on down to Chiricahua National Monument (I 10 to willcox, then 37 miles S.E. to the Monument) and do some hiking
Come on down!

Good morning Mikie You just might be right! That and the fact that the soles of my favorite pair of hiking boots melted into a puddle on the floor mat of my car the first time I visited there...who would have thought it would get to be 123 degrees by 10 am??? (and that was with the car windows rolled down!) Lol Have a good Christmas Mike yer neighbor to the south a bit, Karen
