Does anyone have this font? It's used in DOT traffic signage. If you have it, could you send it to me or tell me where to find it? Thanks -------------------- Gord Gilliatt PODIUM grafix 1300 Hwy 7 East, R.R. #7, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada K9J 6X8

yep http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/pixymbols/highway-gothic/ It looks like Highway Gothic will be replaced by a font family called 'clearview' http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/res-ia_clearview_font.htm The following have already adopted Clearview: Texas (statewide), Pennsylvania, British Columbia Toronto (older version), Yukon, other Canadian municipalities This is an interesting manual for highway standards, the pdf can be imported into corel or illustrator http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/pdfs/2003r1/pdf-index.htm [ December 18, 2004, 04:21 PM: Message edited by: TransLab ] -------------------- Mike O'Neill It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value. - Arthur C.
