I just tried it last week Mike. I ran the .030 Ultra Mag through mine with no problems. Make absolutely certain the printhead is set to high. I used the heavy duty banner profile but I only printed black on white. I did not print anything in color yet to compare color accuracy with that profile.
I dont know what the versacamm head height is compared to the SolJet so you want to make sure you dont have head strikes with yours.

i ask them at the show and they said they don't recommend it...because there's a metal part near the head...could fuk it all up...but i'm a big chicken.

I don't have one but at the show in Orlando they were running magnetic in the VersaCamm and said it was no problem. They said it was made with parts that would allow magnetic to go through without getting hung up. That's all I know!

I forgot to mention mike. I have the add on external heater and its made of steel. The mag material wants to stick to it will jam up the material at the front edge. I taped a 18 x 24 in piece of 4m coro over it to keep the magnetic material away from the steel. It passes right over with no problem. Thats the only issue I found and its an easy fix.

Glenn I dont have a versacamm. I'm running the SolJet Pro II machine. Its the larger machine of Rolands so I can't say for sure how the versacamm compares physically to it.
